Hi, welcome to Yuduo Zhou's homepage. I am currently a PhD student in School of Informatics and Computing at the Indiana University Bloomington. My research area mainly includes MapReduce and distributed systems.

I received my first Master of Science in Computer Science degree from the University of Chicago in 2009. I got my second master on the way towards my Ph.D. Prior to that, I received my Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Tongji University in 2008.

I worked as Associate Instructor and Research Assistant for IU between 2010 and 2013. I enjoyed a fantastic summer at Google as a Software Enginner Intern in 2012. Between 2009 and 2010, I was a Computer System Programmer with a focus on large scale computation for the Argonne National Lab.

On the dark side

I enjoy outdoor sports, hiking, badminton, swimming and so on. (Basically I enjoy all major sports. Good at none, though...)
For summer, I would love to go diving (I'm a PADI certified open water scuba diver. Check out my video for the one of a kind manta dive).
For winter, I love skiing and snowborading.
I am a fan of anime, manga, comics, and TV series.
Probably no need to mention I love PC/TV games.
I love geek toys, too.
